A mouth-watering pumpkin scent! Notes of pumpkin puree, buttered rum, nutmeg, warm ginger and creamy, sugary vanilla. Although this oil does have spice notes, it is not a "pumpkin pie" scent - it has more balance of pumpkin flesh and spice..

Directions: All About IFRA
We have IFRA on all fragrance oils and flavor oils on our website.
What do the maximum levels mean? Let's use Almond Paradise as an example. The IFRA guidelines on this state that there are no restrictions for soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. So does that mean you can use 100% in your product? No. That would mean your product consists of straight fragrance oil.
The IFRA states the *max* that can be used, not the recommended amount. It is the responsibility of the maker to do their research to see what the recommended usage rate of fragrance oil for their particular recipe is.
For soap, as a general rule of thumb you will use up to 5% of fragrance oil in Cold Process (CP) soap and up to 3% in Melt and Pour (M&P) soap.
So, if you see a fragrance oil and the IFRA says 23% for soap, don't use 23%. IFRA is important when it comes to lower numbers. There are a few fragrance oils that have max usage rates that are less than the percentages shown above. In that case, you can only use the max shown for the oil.

COMMENTS: So many pumpkin scents are too heavy. This one is balanced well with spice and is not overpowering. Worked well in CP. Will buy again.

"A unique fragrace; it's p..."
COMMENTS: A unique fragrace; it's pumpkin spice, but less about the "spice" and more about the sweetness of the pumpkin (and a bit of vanilla). I used 1oz in 1lb of soy wax, and after 1 week cure, the candles had a good cold and hot throw. The cold throw is a bit more "spice-y," and the hot throw is more "vanilla-y." Overall, a good fragrance. Advantages: Great cold throw. Disadvantages: None

"This is a delicious, warm..."
COMMENTS: This is a delicious, warm, pumpkin scent. Not a whole lot of spice which is so difficult to find. You get the sweet, creamy, slightly sugary notes of pumpkin. There is a tiny titch of warmed spices but they are not the dominant note. The *perfect* pumpkin scent. Used in CP soap and the scents sticks and stays true. Discolors to a deep brown.
Also used in GB464 with no issues - smells amazing. Advantages: Not heavy on spice notes.
Creamy, delicious true pumpkin flesh scent.
CP Soaped easily with slight water discount.
Scent sticks and stays true. Disadvantages: Discolors to dark brown (think the color of freshly ground coffee beans). Plan accordingly.
