Additional Information
London is famous for its thick fogs and this scent perfectly evokes those swirling mists and tangled gardens. Jasmine and ylang ylang are entwined with rich green citrus and punctuated by ozone and the earthiness of thick moss. Mature and sophisticated. This is a unisex scent that will appeal to both men and women alike and would be a great choice for soaps or candles. Definitely not a foodie or perfumey fragrance. One might call this a bit fresh and earthy.

All About IFRA

We have IFRA on all fragrance oils and flavor oils on our website.

What do the maximum levels mean? Let's use Almond Paradise as an example. The IFRA guidelines on this state that there are no restrictions for soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. So does that mean you can use 100% in your product? No. That would mean your product consists of straight fragrance oil.

The IFRA states the *max* that can be used, not the recommended amount. It is the responsibility of the maker to do their research to see what the recommended usage rate of fragrance oil for their particular recipe is.

For soap, as a general rule of thumb you will use up to 5% of fragrance oil in Cold Process (CP) soap and up to 3% in Melt and Pour (M&P) soap.

So, if you see a fragrance oil and the IFRA says 23% for soap, don't use 23%. IFRA is important when it comes to lower numbers. There are a few fragrance oils that have max usage rates that are less than the percentages shown above. In that case, you can only use the max shown for the oil.

"Not worth docking stars o..."
COMMENTS:  Not worth docking stars over, but the heady jasmine note is very overpowering even after an hour of dry down. The other notes are subtle and blurred together in the background. I think if you're hoping for a petrichor inspired fogginess then you'd be disappointed, but if you love florals, this is a very nice clean jasmine scent with no "old lady perfume" quality at all. I also would never market this as unisex, it is very, very pretty.

COMMENTS:  A surprise favorite among customers! It does not smell great OOB, so I waited a while to try it. After cure, it's amazing - men love it, and the ladies are snapping it up for themselves. It's very sophisticated an well named, and like the fog, it lingers on the skin. No issues with HP. Advantages: Unisex appeal, no issues. Sophisticated. Disadvantages: Does not smell great OOB.
