We have IFRA on all fragrance oils and flavor oils on our website.
What do the maximum levels mean? Let's use Almond Paradise as an example. The IFRA guidelines on this state that there are no restrictions for soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. So does that mean you can use 100% in your product? No. That would mean your product consists of straight fragrance oil.
The IFRA states the *max* that can be used, not the recommended amount. It is the responsibility of the maker to do their research to see what the recommended usage rate of fragrance oil for their particular recipe is.
For soap, as a general rule of thumb you will use up to 5% of fragrance oil in Cold Process (CP) soap and up to 3% in Melt and Pour (M&P) soap.
So, if you see a fragrance oil and the IFRA says 23% for soap, don't use 23%. IFRA is important when it comes to lower numbers. There are a few fragrance oils that have max usage rates that are less than the percentages shown above. In that case, you can only use the max shown for the oil.

COMMENTS: This is a lovely, deep and sweet berry scent, that isn't candy-like as many tend to be. I tried it in CP soap, and while it behaved well, did fade considerably at three months. In HP soap, it is superb! The scent stays true and strong. Also lovely in other bath and body applications. Will definitely purchase again.

"THIS FRAGRANCE IS AHHHHHH..."
COMMENTS: THIS FRAGRANCE IS AHHHHHHMAZING!!! I am a stickler for fragrances lasting long because I am a high volume soap seller. I use this in my HP soap and my goodess...I have some soaps in my bathroom that are almost a year old and I can still smell the blackberry! I LOVE THIS ONE! Advantages: Scent hold a very long time.

"Goat's milk cold process ..."
COMMENTS: Goat's milk cold process soap, 30 Lb batch no liquid discount:
This fragrance riced on me considerably but because it doesn't accelerate trace I was able to stick blend it out quite well, but the extra blending did bring trace quite a bit heavier than I like to pour at. Resulting soap is rougher looking than I typically like, but the scent is incredible. This fragrance worked well for me at 6 Lbs but it seems it is resistant to scale up with my two toned design, but I will adjust design to ensure a more fluid pour as this fragrance is incredible. I highly recommend even though it gave me a run for my money trying to scale up my batch size.

COMMENTS: I cannot tell you how much money i spent on this scent when BBW still made Blissful Blackberry candles, room sprays , and wall flowers. Totally addicted, love it . Has been in my home for years . When they stopped making it i went on a search for the scent , since i too make candles as a hobby , and found it here with Rustic Essentials . This is EXACTLY the same scent i've loved all those years , and have been thrilled to be able to keep it in my home by being able to buy it here. The best scent ever !! I hope this is always continued to be made . I couldn't imagine not being able to find it . If you loved the scent you could find in the BBW stores when Blissful Blackberry was still stocked on in their stores, you are going to be MORE than happy to have found it again , right here , on this awesome companies website ! Exact match to a very beloved and missed scent that just can't be found anywhere else . I buy this and several other scents for candles and sprays that i make , and all of them are awesome. But nothing yet sofar i have found can top Blissful Blackberry .
