Additional Information
Remember the big red candy that was so hot, you had to switch it from cheek to cheek to avoid the burn? Now, you can have that candy in soaps, candles, or toiletries! You read that correctly, OUR cinnamon is safe for your skin applications! This fragrance multi-tasks to blend with patchouli, spices, vanillas, fruits, etc. Makes a great incense or liquid potpourri. Great hot and cold throw in paraffin, soy tests pending. Our cold process soaps smell so good, and the fragrance behaved itself with a little bit of acceleration to be expected depending upon your soap oils recipe.

All About IFRA

We have IFRA on all fragrance oils and flavor oils on our website.

What do the maximum levels mean? Let's use Almond Paradise as an example. The IFRA guidelines on this state that there are no restrictions for soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. So does that mean you can use 100% in your product? No. That would mean your product consists of straight fragrance oil.

The IFRA states the *max* that can be used, not the recommended amount. It is the responsibility of the maker to do their research to see what the recommended usage rate of fragrance oil for their particular recipe is.

For soap, as a general rule of thumb you will use up to 5% of fragrance oil in Cold Process (CP) soap and up to 3% in Melt and Pour (M&P) soap.

So, if you see a fragrance oil and the IFRA says 23% for soap, don't use 23%. IFRA is important when it comes to lower numbers. There are a few fragrance oils that have max usage rates that are less than the percentages shown above. In that case, you can only use the max shown for the oil.

I Recommend This Product!
"Amazing scent no acceleration "
COMMENTS:  I used this in incense & cold process soap. The incense is really strong and true. As is the cold process. I soaped using babassu, olive oil and castor oil, at room temp & did short bursts with the hand mixer till just emulsified. I also warmed the fragrance slightly. The only surprise I got was the bright yellow Orange the oils turned when it got hit with the lye water ! Thankfully I was using in the pot swirl with bright red & white colors. So for now it has a cool flame like design.

"The CP notes are incorrec..."
COMMENTS:  The CP notes are incorrect. I used this fragrance in a double batch for the top layer. It accelerated and discolored my batter yellow. It made my whole design go haywire. Advantages: It smells great in the bottle. Will be using it for bathbomb instead. Disadvantages: Discolors to yellow, fast Acceleration.

"Finally, a fabulous cinna..."
COMMENTS:  Finally, a fabulous cinnamon with high enough safe usage rates for CP soap. Soaps beautifully, with no A, D, ricing or separation. Discolors to a very, very light beige after curing. The scent sticks like glue, and used at 5% of my oils, is still very strong after five weeks. Those wanting a subtle scent could definitely use less. A new staple in my collection, as it's fabulous on its own or blended with other FOs. Advantages: High safe usage rate for CP soap! Behaves beautifully in CP soap, and sticks like glue.

"A very strong cinnamon! ..."
COMMENTS:  A very strong cinnamon! I've only used this in a clear M&P, and it totally clouded it up =( I've never experienced that before, but I hear it's common for a FO to cloud/darken a clear M&P soap base. Other than that...we all love it!

"My customers always come ..."
COMMENTS:  My customers always come back for this one. Say it's the best, strongest cinnamon. I just call it Red Hot Cinnamon or Christmas Cinnamon for holiday time. I cut back on the amount in applications since it's that strong. And it's body safe. Advantages: Nice and Strong. Disadvantages: None that I've found.
