Additional Information
A fall apple harvest festival in the mountains - nothing is more idyllic or perfect! This scent harkens fall and all the pleasant memories that come with it. Notes of sweet slow-cooked spiced apples with mulled berries and citrus rind provide a bright top note leading to a warm blend of star anise, cinnamon sticks, and clove for middle notes, and a succulent caramelized brown sugar rounding out the base.

Candied, baked, dumplings or turnovers, all the great smells of the local apple festival. Candle making supply, and candle scents.

All About IFRA

We have IFRA on all fragrance oils and flavor oils on our website.

What do the maximum levels mean? Let's use Almond Paradise as an example. The IFRA guidelines on this state that there are no restrictions for soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. So does that mean you can use 100% in your product? No. That would mean your product consists of straight fragrance oil.

The IFRA states the *max* that can be used, not the recommended amount. It is the responsibility of the maker to do their research to see what the recommended usage rate of fragrance oil for their particular recipe is.

For soap, as a general rule of thumb you will use up to 5% of fragrance oil in Cold Process (CP) soap and up to 3% in Melt and Pour (M&P) soap.

So, if you see a fragrance oil and the IFRA says 23% for soap, don't use 23%. IFRA is important when it comes to lower numbers. There are a few fragrance oils that have max usage rates that are less than the percentages shown above. In that case, you can only use the max shown for the oil.

"Smells wonderful, reminds..."
COMMENTS:  Smells wonderful, reminds me of spiced applesauce. Soap was even a nice "applesauce" color at trace. Will need to wait out the cure time to see if the color holds close. My soap batter did accelerate pretty quick once it reached light trace. Had to work quickly but was able to do my planned mica lines with a copper colored mica. Advantages: Smells wonderful Disadvantages: Max usage rate of 1.34 % for soap, which is higher than any fragrance oil I have ever used which ups the cost per batch Accelerated pretty fast and I would not have been able to do anything fancy.

"I originally bought this ..."
COMMENTS:  I originally bought this to use as one of my fall scents, but it is perfect all year round. I have to come up with a new name to attract folks for the summer. You will not be disappointed Advantages: This is an all year round fragrance Disadvantages: The name limits this scent to the fall
