Additional Information
** Not recommended for soaping.** Our Royal Blue Mica is a luxuriant medium-to-deep blue that appears nearly matte in the container, but finishes in product with a high sheen without being glittery. This is a great "go to" blue that won't leave you with a bunch of purple hue. Royal Blue Mica is natural shimmer pigment derived from the mineral Muscovite Mica (potassium aluminum silicate), coated with iron oxide, cosmetic-grade fineness. Insoluble, but miscible in liquids (sinks to bottom in thin liquids). This pigment contains iron blue which is unstable to alkaline and some salts. Best for use in mineral make-up.

"Had high hopes for this, ..."
COMMENTS:  Had high hopes for this, unfortunately it morphed to a grey for me in cold processed soap. Crossed my fingers it'd change during cure. I'm optimistic like that. While it didn't work in cold process for me it gave a beautiful, rich colour to my bath salts and bombs so it's still a winner for me. Advantages: Rich colour in bath salts and bombs Disadvantages: -Morphs to grey in cold processed soap
