Recommended usage rate is up to 3%. Make sure to follow the IFRA guidelines.

COMMENTS: I was really excited to use this one, it smells fantastic out of the bottle. However, in the lip balm, to me it smells like Play-doh, and leaves a weird aftertaste. I made a dozen balms to start, and got similar feedback from my customers (I gave the balms away and asked for feedback, thinking it was just me.) I ended up re-making my "Lemon Cake" lip balms with vanilla flavor oil and a drop of lemon essential oil, which came out really nice.

"Not a fan"
COMMENTS: I don't really smell lemon in it at all, just smells chemically. It tastes weird in lip balm. I'm sure others might like it, just not my type of fragrance I guess.

I Recommend This Product!
"Smells like a "just ..."
COMMENTS: Smells like a "just baked" pound cake with lemon-I'd also compare this to a lemon poppyseed cake. This is my go to flavor oil for people who love lemon.
