Additional Information
All-natural 100% pure soybean wax perfect for candle making. This container candle soy wax has a melt point of 125°, is pure (no additives), and comes in flake form. This soy wax may also be used for blending with other natural or paraffin waxes. Fragrance load is 8-10% (1.28 - 1.6 ounces per pound of wax). Recommended pour temp is around 95°-100° - candle tops may require a small repour.

Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil

Directions:
All wax should be aired out 24-48 hours prior to using to remove excess moisture. Open up bag and stir/rotate wax every few hours. Store in a cool, dry area.

Heat to approx. 165° in a double boiler or melter, add your fragrance oil and colorant, and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Let cool to 95-100° before pouring. Low temperature pouring may help reduce frosting. As with all soy wax, a cure time of 2 weeks is recommended before burning. WARNING: Never melt wax on direct heat such as stove burner, always us a melter or double boiler method.

"I usually use Golden 464 wax. This wax seems much softer. Do I need to add additives to this to make a good candle? Can this be used as it is? Thanks"

"Performs very well"
COMMENTS:  This is the only wax I’ve used but it melts quickly holds fragrance well and burns perfectly even in my 9 oz jars. It does have a thin crumbly layer on top so I always need to do a pour after it’s dry to even it out.
