Kaolin Clay is a natural, fluffy, mild clay that is light white in color and can be used in a wide variety of formulations ranging from makeup to bath and body products, soaps to facial scrubs. Add 1-3 teaspoons per pound of oils in your cold or hot process soaps to help anchor the fragrance oil or essentials oil and to give a silky, creamy feel to the finished soap bar. Ideal for sensitive skin, Kaolin is ideal for use in creating mineral makeup products like foundations, blushes, and eye shadows. Also useful to help thicken lotions and cream and as a hardener in bath bombs. Kaolin helps to cleanse and purify the skin without stripping beneficial oils.
Suggested product uses: mineral makeup, cold process and M&P soaps, creams and lotions, bath bombs, bath salts, shower gels and scrubs, facial masks and cleaners, and more. Kaolin clay helps remove toxins from skin and is naturally absorbent making it the perfect additive to your natural deodorant formulations. Incorporates easily into formulations without clumping. Adds slip and smoothing properties to shaving soap. Kaolin clay has a high silica content and is the smart choice for facial masks or mud bath products. Use at 50-75% for masks. COMMENTS: The best stuff to use in gluten free-talc free body powder ! With this I can add 1/4 tsp of fragrance per pound of powder & it really hangs onto the scent !
